Orrin S. Belden
Orrin is an undergraduate in the College of Science with a major in Science Pre-Professional Studies and minors in Latino Studies and International Development Studies. He is originally from Diamond Bar, CA.
Orrin employs cell biology techniques to further characterize ongoing biochemical experiments in the lab. The main focus of Orrin’s work is characterizing T cell receptor affinity and cross reactivity in cell culture models. His main research interests are in cancer immunology. He is especially interested in ongoing research concerning the development of new immunological therapies for treating cancer.
In his free time he likes to travel to new places, relax at the beach, try new food, and learn about international development issues. After graduation, Orrin plans to pursue a medical degree and continue his involvement in research.
